Diese Organisation engagiert sich intensiv für den Schutz und Erhalt dieser interessanten Art, die durch illegale Tötungs- und Jagdaktivitäten stark gefährdet ist. Mit jeder Tüte Kaffee, die Sie in dieser Zeit kaufen, unterstützen Sie also auch die Tierwelt von Save Vietnam.
Warum die Tierwelt Vietnams retten?
Wir haben die Aktivitäten von Save Vietnam’s Wildlife einige Zeit verfolgt und ihre unermüdlichen Bemühungen berühren uns sehr und wir bewundern sie für ihre Aktivitäten. Hunderte von Wildtieren wurden gerettet. Unser Beitrag mag klein sein, aber wir möchten unseren Teil dazu beitragen, diese großartigen Tiere zu schützen.
Warum Pangoline?
Schuppentiere sind die am häufigsten illegal gehandelten Säugetiere der Welt.
Jedes Jahr werden ungefähr 100.000 einzelne Pangoline aus der Wildnis gewildert, um den illegalen nationalen und internationalen Handel zu beliefern, hauptsächlich für die Verwendung als traditionelle Medizin und Fleisch, da es als Delikatesse gilt. (https://svw.vn/)
Zwei Pangolinarten in Vietnam
Weltweit gibt es acht Schuppentierarten: vier Arten in Asien und vier Arten in Afrika.
Vietnam ist die Heimat von zwei Arten von Pangolinen, dem Sunda-Pangolin und dem chinesischen Pangolin, die beide ernsthaft vom Aussterben bedroht sind.

Today is the World Pangolin day. We would like to announce that we will spend from now on during one month 10% of our coffee benefit to donate for Save Vietnam’s Wildlife. This organisation is intensively involved in the protection and preservation of this interesting species, which is highly endangered by illegal killing and hunting activities. So every bag of coffee you buy during this period you will also support Save Vietnam’s wildlife.
So, why Save Vietnam’s wildlife?
We have followed the activity of Save Vietnam’s wildlife for some time and their tireless efforts make us very touched and we admire them for their activities. Hundreds of wild animals have been saved. Our contribution might be small, but we want to do our part to protect these great animals.
Why Pangolin?
Pangolins are the most illegally trafficked mammals in the world.
Every year, approximately 100.000 individual pangolins are poached from the wild to supply illegal domestic and international trade, primarily for the use as traditional medicine and meat, as it is considered as a delicacy. (website Save Vietnam’s wildlife https://svw.vn/about-us/)
Two Pangolin species in Vietnam
Worldwide, there are eight pangolin species: four species in Asia and four species in Africa. Vietnam is home of two species of pangolins, the Sunda Pangolin and the Chinese Pangolin, both of which are facing serious threat of extinction.
